I have delayed effect when taking Viagra pill – any advice?

Question:

My name is Stan, 35 yo. I have a few ED pills related questions.

I know that Viagra (Sildenafil Citrate) pills are recommended to be taken approx. 1 hour before sexual intercourse. But if I do so I don’t feel any effect. I can only get if if I take Viagra about 2 or even 3 hours before sex. I also tried other PDE5 inhibitors and the same goes with Cialis and Levitra – I should take them earlier then usual in order to achieve results.

Can I take Viagra or other ED pills on a constant basis in order to cure my impotence? If yes – what is the safest recommended dosage? What is the preferable time of taking – in the morning or before sleep?

I also noticed that Viagra works better for me if I split a pill into two pieces and take one by one with an hour delay. And sometimes it seems to me that smaller dosages (25mg or 50mg)work better for me than Viagra 100mg. What could be the cause of all that?

There is also a certain range for medication activity and your delayed effect of Viagra is caused by your personal body chemistry. You just have to adjust yourself to your response time (as you have already done).

Viagra and other PDE5 inhibitors are not allowed to be taken as recreational drugs, they do not cure impotence, they just help you to achieve and maintain an erection.
